At io we recently took part in our first Public Contracts (Scotland) tender and I am very happy to say with a successful outcome. We are absolutely elated to have won the IT Support Contract for this fantastic, partly government funded organisation, having been tendering alongside numerous other respected and experienced IT Managed Service Providers. We're really looking forward to working with their great team.

A few very basic tips:
1. Make sure you complete your profile and mark it as public if you want buyers to see you.
2. Make you profile as detailed and accurate as possible.
3. Sign up to email alerts - you can specify the type of contracts you want to be notified of - these usually arrive around 6pm every weekday and are worth a read.
4. There are a lot more organisations within the Public Contracts (Scotland) framework than you'd expect so don't discount it just because you are not interested in government contracts.
