Replies
They may think by sending through their CVs they stand more chance?
If it was me reading this I wouldn't be too sure what you're looking for so would probably send my CV anyway even though it says not to - just to be on the safe side ;-)
Or am I expecting too much?
These are entry level positions and the salary ranges from £6.75p/h to £8.75ph plus commissions
Hopefully they take the instruction on the "How to Apply", they need to send it through to info@collaborativebd.com
I also think the above offer does sound compelling if the right candidate finds it at the right time.
However, I wonder if by making the post quite generic, it would put some people off? It doesn't...but it could come across as some of the "sales role" ads you see out there that end up being for concessions and call centres and the like, rather than a quality business development role, as I'm sure these are.
Would there be a way to personalise the message (by industry, for example) and target each to a particular type of candidate?
Good luck with it all! Happy Friday :-)
Yeah it is great to have positive things in recruitment and companies are understanding that sales is needed, unfortunately it was a role that a lot of companies dropped in the downturn
For where it says Industry 1, Industry 2 etc in the advert they have actual industry sectors from Logistics to Hospitality
Yes that is what I would have expected as a minimum some short essay highlighting the answer to the question on how to apply.
One of the reasons I put it this way was I don’t have time to read hundreds of CV’s and but putting a short essay together I could have read these to see who would be the best fit for my clients prior to asking for full CV’s
The reason my clients are using me to help them fill these roles is I’m not just looking to put people in jobs but people who have a real passion for and industry, basically fitting the right candidate with the right company and the right company for the right person
