We're in the middle of getting a new kitchen installed by Laings Direct so understandably the house is in an uproar, but its going to look amazing when it's finished!
But the good thing about being in this position is that you have the perfect excuse to eat out...and I just had to share the great experience we had last night!
It was our first visit to 8848 on Union Street and we'll definitely be back! I had the best curry I've ever tasted, just the right amount of spicy heat with incredible flavours. The service was great too, very attentive without being intrusive. Highly recommend a visit!

Hi Nicky! A new kitchen sounds like a nightmare and a dream at the same time. Renovating can be so messy, but like you said the result will be amazing and so worth it.
I agree with you 100%! 8848 is the best curry in town! We've been many times and have never been disappointed, the food is amazing and the service is also fantastic.
We're past the worst of the building work now Iska and only have the difficult choice of paint colour...so many options!
I think we'll have another trip to 8848 this week since we're not quite finished the kitchen, any excuse to go back!
