First Books and Networking in April!

I've previously mentioned my book group, and my planned book themed networking events (both members and non-members of the Facebook group are welcome), and delighted to be able to share more details!

The first one will be next month on Wednesday 29th April between 11:00am-1:00pm at the Academy of Expressive Arts on Gaelic Lane (just off Belmont Street).

This will be an opportunity to meet other business owners, network and of course discuss the books everyone is currently reading!

Spaces are limited, so booking is essential! Tickets are only £10 each, and you can book via EventBrite: https://www.eventbrite.com/e/books-networking-april-2020-tickets-98783581351

  • Thank you to everyone for your replies, and to everyone who booked their ticket (or even let me know they couldn't make it!), etc.

With the ongoing coronavirus situation, I have decided to postpone the first Books & Networking (that was due to take place on 29th April).

However - Books & Networking will still go ahead and return when it can! If you'd like to be kept informed of plans, e-mail simon@libraryplayer.co.uk

And remember you are still welcome to share, discuss, recommend, discover and review non-fiction books within the Facebook group.

  • I'll be booking very soon - so excited to have a second copy of The Richest Man in Babylon fall on my doormat from my Book of the Month via KIK.

    • Thanks Geoff, look forward to seeing you there! Let us know what you think of the book (and KIK sounds interesting - never heard of it!). :-)

  • Sorry I can't make the date Simon. Looking forward to event 2!

    • And looking forward to seeing you at event 2 too! :-)
