Cake or biscuit?

Happy Friday Everyone!

In true Centrum tradition we are having our Tunnocks tea cake. (Yes I know it’s not even 9am yet 🙈)

This week however it’s sparked a debate and I’m hoping you can settle it.

Is the teacake a cake or a biscuit?

  • Biscuit as they're in the biscuit aisle and not the cake aisle haha 😃

  • Cake. All the way. And very tasty!

    • We can both agree that they are tasty at least.

  • C'mon. it has got to be a cake. there is no main crunch to it so for me Cake all the wa. lol

    Have a Fab Friday guys.

    • The expert has spoken! I thought biscuit because it wasnt spongey?

  • I think the clue is in the title its most definitely a Biscake or is it a Cakcuit?! Ha ha
What's also fascinating is why are HMRC so obsessed with all things sweet, must take lots of cups tea and fine pieces to process all that tax!

    • Biscake is a great way to describe them. I never actually thought of that, they are slightly obsessed with this topic. Maybe they get sent lots of freebies when debating?

      • Freebies always taste good! Only one way to settle this taste test! to the shops!

        • We usually have a supply here, there was a terrible time in lockdown when the coop had completely sold out!
