Afternoon everyone, with all that is happening locally and globally wth COVID-19 we are all in rather uncertain and unpredictable times.

As highlighted after Boris's comments to avoid pubs and restaurants, the hospitality sector has taken a massive hit during what has been already been a hard time for the industry, leaving them left hanging with no insurance, no rescue package and no customers. Peoples' jobs and livelihoods are on the line. We see on the news BA and Virgin asking for a government bailout as they face the risk of collapse, how about the independent restaurant or business owner who has not only put their livelihood into their busness but perhaps their own homes as they may have released equity out of their homes or used their homes as security so that they can fulfil their dream of owning and running their own business.

For those who know me will know that I have spent over 15 years in hospitality as a restaurant owner and fast food owner.  I appreciate and understand the pressures that business owners go through as I was and still am one of them.  I have done the long hours and worked the unsociable hours and through the holidays, so I can relate to everything they have gone through as I have expereinced all of the ups and downs of being a business owner and being in hospitality.  Hospitality is and will always be close to my heart so I just wanted to reach out to everyone here who knows of any business, it doesn't have to be just in hospitality, who is facing difficult times and is needing help with their finances or cashflow to get in touch with me to see if I can help them.

There is the Coronavirus Buisness Interruption Loan Scheme that provides a government guarentee of up to 80% for the lenders in the market, enabling them to lend to business affected by COVID-19.  Unfortunately the scheme does have criteria, as these loans will be for sound businesses that have been affected and with insufficent security to meet lending criteria encompassing a range of facilities from term loans, aset finance, business loans and invoice finance facilities.

I want to support our economy and our business by providing businesses with a FREE financial health check to asses their situaution to see if I can identify opportunities to raise cash or save money and assist them to get to the 'the other side' of this pandemic.
