Shrinking Quality Street!

In recent years, its been a bit of a tradition that I treat myself to some Quality Street at Christmas - and there is something nice about having them in a tin rather then a plastic container!

This year I notice the size of all the Quality Street tubs and tins have shrunk slightly.

Do you buy Quality Street at Christmas? Do you prefer them in a tub, tin or box?

Or do you prefer Cadburys Roses or Heroes, or Celebrations?

And which ones are your favourite? :-)

  • I know what you mean Simon, its a sneaky way to 'Keep the price' the same and hope no one notices they are getting less for their money.
I've begun to see this happening to many products in supermarkets.

So e spend the same amount and eat less. For some things that may not be a bad idea.
  • I'm actually putting together vegan versions to sell this Christmas!
    • Vegan versions sound interesting - let us know how you get on! :-)
  • How disappointing! Maybe it's to get you to buy TWO tins instead of one!?
    • Hadn't thought about that - you could be right! Although if I brought two, I'd probably end up buying Quality Street AND Cadbury Roses. :-)
  • Takes me back - quality street was my parents choice for the family Christmas. Haven’t had them for a while, maybe it’s time to road test them again.
    • Remember them from early in my childhood, and the old TV adverts, and since I've lived on my own I've brought them every Christmas! Let us know how you get on with road testing them - wonder if they have changed that much over the years. :-)
  • Love them all! And already off the mark with some Quality Street!
    • I like all the Quality Streets apart from the purple ones! Hope you are sharing the Quality Streets with Jack Bauer! :-)
      • I once gave Jack a chocolate but he used it as a (lethal) weapon
