Each Tuesday we share a stroy of 'transformation' on our Gathimba Edwards Foundation social media pages and I thought it would be nice to share this week's on here. I hope it might encourage people who are facing difficult times to have faith that situations can change....
3 years ago the always smiling Faith and Ann were living in a broken wooden house without furniture and regularly being sent home from school due to a lack of fees. Their living conditions were some of the worst I have ever seen. Their older brother James was struggling mentally and had contemplated suicide due to the struggles the they were facing.
Today each of the children are flourishing in school, living happily in their new house built by our volunteers in 2017 and each time I have met James since he has a completely different demeanour and outlook to the boy we first met back in 2016.
