Profile Information

Please provide the name of your company/organisation and details of what you/they do

I work for the Robert Gordon University as a Lecturer in Marketing.  I currently co-ordinate modules such as: our undergraduate Business Creativity, Business Start Up in the Creative Industries, and Marketing module.  Alongside this I also co-ordinate our postgraduate module on Marketing Strategy.  My role also involves me assisting in the teaching team for our postgraduate module Business Marketing and Innovation.  Additionally I am involved in support our Events Management course in my role as Head of Year for the second year students.

My previous role in the university was as a Researcher with a focus on areas such as Women's Career Development/HSE/Competency issues in the oil and gas industry.  My current research interests lie in the area of consumer psychology, which underpins my part time PhD topic exploring the role of Nostalgia in Fans reaction towards change in Disney theme parks.

  • Hi Tracy,

I had been hoping to meet up with you yesterday at the F2F at the Copthorne.  I offer transcription services and as you work for RGU, l thought it best to speak to yourself to see if l could be of any help to any students, etc.  Please feel free to get in touch.  Many thanks, Moira.

  • Shame we did not meet up today Tracy... next one I hope!

  • Hi Tracy,

It was good to meet you and to learn about the exciting opportunities and links between your students and local businesses. I look forward to meeting again sometime.  Anne.

  • Hi Tracy
Sorry I missed speaking to you at Pittodrie on Tuesday.
  • Hi Tracy,

Good to see you again at M4 and delighted to hear all the students are doing so well

  • Hey Tracey - good to hear that you are still enjoying your work - thas all that matters! Yeah would love to catch up with you again - I am quite often in Aberdeen on business and we could maybe meet over lunch? You could let me know your availability and I could try to organise my diary accordingly. Things are manic at the moment and look forward to telling you all about it - best thing I have ever done Tracey - wish I did it years ago but then I would probably not have been ready - Tina xxx
  • Hey Mrs Pirie - Good to hear from you and I hope you are doing well. I am great - loving every minute of being in charge of my own destiny and the business is growing day by day :) Are you still at RGU? Keep in touch Tracey and hopefully we can catch up again soon xx
