Hi everyone , whilst we are still open for business for all things Promotional, Branded Clothing and Back to Work Signage, I thought I would give you an insight into all of the brighly coloured benches you see down on the Beach Prom , Seaton park , Hazelhead Park and the featured Inspire bench on top of the Broad Hill. These are a collaboration between ACVO and the City Council , promoted by Alison Chandler of ACVO and Stephen Bly of the Council to allow City Charities to promote themselves via the decoration of the said Friendly Benches . These Friendly benches are even more important through Covid 19 as they are there to encourage the public to speak to each other , a friendly word of "how are you" could mean a lot to people of all ages who just want to talk . Recognition Express supported the campaign by donating and installing plaques for the said Benches . So when you see these benches and you feel you could engage with someone who perhaps is on their own give them you best "Fit Like" and get the conversation started.

Hi Dennis! I often admire these colourful benches when I'm down for a wander at the beach. They certianly made me smile when I was out for my daily walk during the height of lockdown.

Thanks jessie, the Friendly benches really brighten up the parks and the Beach promenade , hopefully we will get a summer for everyone to enjoy
