Imposter syndrome?

Are too many female leaders – or potential leaders – suffering from imposter syndrome? How do we mitigate it and ensure our businesses have the best and the brightest leaders, regardless of gender? My profession has a powerful role in ensuring that this happens and it’s something I am passionate about as well.

  • Great article Nicky. I think this effects everyone but my take is that it possibly holds women back more than our male counterparts in terms of taking the lead.
    • I would agree Carmen.

      There are so many talented, passionate and inspirational women who absolutely have the ability to be great leaders and this psychological problem holds them back. Surrounding ourselves with positive people who believe in us can really help build confidence and self esteem...and having a good coach is also very helpful!

      I don't think anyone is immune to Imposter Syndrome, it's just that some of us hear that internal voice louder than others!
